During our work process, the clay is rolled or pressed into molds designed by us. After drying, they are fired at close to 1000 C degrees to become hard thus suitable for under-glaze painting. The painted pieces are covered with a transparent glaze, while the imprinted pieces are fired with a colored glaze.

Our tiles apparently carry the touch of their creator - the marks of craftsmanship, as they are made by hand without exception. Due to this fact, their surface is not completely smooth and there might be minor differences in the sizes and shades of each piece. Before setting the tiles, it is important to lay out the pieces under good lighting conditions to distribute the differences evenly. However the deficiencies do not appear to be a mistake. These small “imperfections” emphasize the craftsmanship of the surface, lending the completed work a truly

 unique and unrepeatable appearance.
